Top 3 Sunday Brunch Spots in Miami
It’s no secret Miami has always had a wealth of culinary influence from all around the world.
Now more than ever, though, we see new restaurants flock to Miami in droves.
Popular restaurants from Moscow, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Mexico City.
Many people don’t realize this, but Miami is actually a small city, contrary to popular belief.
The actual city of Miami only has a population of 480,000 residents.
Miami-Dade County? Only 2,800,000 residents.
That doesn’t even make it the most populous county in Florida. Jacksonville has nearly double the number of residents.
Compared to the millions upon millions of people residing in the cities I mentioned at the beginning, you get a good understanding of how Miami is actually still growing day by day.
Why is all of that important? Well, I personally think it’s cool that Miami continues to grow as an international city daily.
You might be thinking, isn't it already an international city? Of course, it is!
There is always room for growth, though.
So to see other major restaurants and chefs from cities all over the world want a piece of the culinary pie in Miami is an awesome experience to watch unfold right in front of our eyes...or dinner table.
Anyway, enough of that, on to my -
Top 3 Sunday Brunch Spots in Miami (in no particular order)
This list is composed strictly of brunches that include an all-you-can-eat menu as well as an all-you-can-drink menu.
300 S Biscayne Blvd
Miami, FL 33131
(305) 489-1000
Novikov is a sophisticated world-renowned Chinese-Japanese concept, situated on a lively corner of Downtown Miami right on Biscayne Boulevard.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful Miami weather while dining al fresco on the outside terrace, overlooking Biscayne Bay.
Personally, I enjoy sitting indoors where I can fully take into the chic ambiance and music.
Novikov always has a DJ on Sundays and it is an amazing scene.
The food and drink do not disappoint.
With endless dim sum, Singapore noodles, wasabi martinis, prawn fried rice, and many more options, this is one of my absolute favorites.
You also get a choice of one special entree included such as king crab, a wagyu ribeye, or black cod.
They actually have two menus, a signature menu and a premium menu.
Either menu is just as great with slight differences which you will see in the menu I attached.
They also have restaurants located in Moscow and London.
This is definitely the tastiest menu on the list.
The Signature Menu is $89 and the Premium Menu is $169. Brunch lasts from 11 AM until 4 PM.
495 Brickell Ave
Miami, FL 33131
(786) 623-6135
Situated at the bottom of Brickell’s Icon Residences is Cantina La Veinte.
Enjoy refined Mexican fare in a glitzy space with an outdoor patio, authentic curios, and an adjacent food market.
Gold chandeliers and marble floors line the restaurant with all the exotic colors of Mexico we know and love.
I love Cantina La Veinte because the restaurant is an open-air space right along the sea wall.
On a Sunday, whenever everyone is out and about, it gifts you a true Miami experience by the water.
Out of all the places on this list, Cantina La Veinte, by far, has the most extensive menu options.
From king crab, chilaquiles, churros, octopus, mimosas, and rosé, just to name a few.
This place is the best bang for your buck on the list.
The brunch menu is $95, and brunch from 11 AM until 5 PM.
1. MILA
1636 Meridian Ave, Rooftop
Miami Beach, FL 33139
(786) 706-0744
Located in the heart of South Beach, MILA is a restaurant, rooftop lounge, and mixology bar aiming to transport diners on a culinary journey through the shores of the Mediterranean and Japan, all the while creating a visionary expression of flavorful MediterrAsian cuisine.
The transporting venue brings an elevated dining experience together with a magical, glamourous, and vibrant atmosphere.
Living up to their mantra “joie de vivre” (translation, “joy of living”), MILA embodies a multi-sensory culinary and lifestyle experience: a chic-bohemian enclave filled with eclectic blends of Balearic music, dishes full of taste, and a fresh and flirty ambiance.
The dynamic restaurant and lounge will transform a high-end meal service into a vibrant atmosphere for guests to socialize and celebrate the night away.
I can’t express how much the MILA takes the win in the ambiance category of this list.
The decor from top to bottom is the best I’ve experienced in Miami recently.
Their Sunday brunch menu consists of shrimp cocktails, oysters, eggs in a jar, prime beef shishito, Mexican style street corn, branzino, and many more options.
The brunch menu is $75 and goes from 11:30 AM until 3 PM.
