Set your sights on Wynwood, Magic City's renowned entertainment and cultural center, lovingly called by locals as Miami's "Little San Juan," an eclectic, compact community where art and culture are celebrated, and quality education is within reach!

Say hello to Wynwood, a tiny district squeezed between Edgewater to the east, Allapattah to the west (on the other side of the I-95), and the Miami Design District to the north. To its south is a downtown region known as Town Square. The community covers approximately 1.294 square miles, which is smaller than other neighborhoods in the area.

Wynwood's two major sub-districts are the Wynwood Art District in northern Wynwood and the Wynwood Fashion District along West 5th Avenue.

The good news for families is art and culture aren't the only main draws of the famed neighborhood. While the area is small in size, its big city convenience surely compensates for the tight space.

Good food, recreation, pocket parks, and schools for the young and old-- you name it, this district's got it!

Here's a list of schools in Wynwood.
