A neighborhood in the "heart of Miami" and an integral part of Little Havana, Shenandoah draws tourists and locals with its diverse population, ideal location, history-rich Mediterranean-styled homes, unique landscape-- and a side of quality schools for your little one!

Geographically central and high and dry on a ridge, its borders are Calle Ocho to the north, Coral Way to the south, SW 12th Ave to the east, and SW 27th Ave to the west. Shenandoah is minutes from Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Brickell, and Downtown Miami.

Its main thoroughfares are Calle Ocho and Coral Way, offering a rich street life to contrast Shenandoah's simple facade, with its authentic Cuban restaurants, popular vanitas, warm and toasty Cuban bakeries, and street festivals that are too colorful for words. Although the neighborhood lacks shopping districts and entertainment centers, it provides different community-improvement projects to bring new amenities to enhance residents' daily quality of life, including a few educational institutions for the children in the area.

Here's a list of schools in Shenandoah.
