A Lifetime In The Greenbelt Of Miami: Adorning Your Pinecrest Home With Living Essentials
Is everything all set for your big Pinecrest move?
Before you haul in the decor and expensive furniture, don't forget to set up your utilities first!
All that preparation will be for nothing if you can't SEE anything inside your new Pinecrest home!
To shed some light on your home (literally), create or log in to your existing account at the Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) website and apply for service at your new address.
New account holders need to submit their Social Security, Driver's License, Social Insurance, or Tax ID number, the new service address, and the connection date, and existing FPL customers only need to advise the disconnection date (old address), re-connection date, and complete service address for a service transfer.
Apart from this, a deposit of $25 (minimum) and other initial set-up fees may be charged upfront, whether you're a new or existing customer.
To cook your food using natural gas, let Florida City Gas (FCG) hook up your service.
After confirming availability, submit the necessary IDs and connection date (new customer) or advise the disconnection date, the complete address of the new home, and preferred service transfer date (existing customer) — easy as pie!
Your deposit fees may be based on the home's square footage or equal to twice the average monthly bill, and you may need to settle a connection fee before the service connection.
To conclude your utilities, check water and sewer availability on the Miami-Dade Water & Sewer website.
Once confirmed, new customers must create an online account and deposit $50 for water, $50 for sewer, and a non-refundable $45 connection fee, and existing owners must also settle any outstanding balance before service transfer.

The Fundamentals Of A Modern Refuge: Setting Up Your Internet And Cable TV In Pinecrest
Can't seem to pinpoint the missing piece inside your new Pinecrest home?
Check your TV and laptop — you may not be connected to any internet and cable service yet!
Considered essential to a modern home, reliable internet connection and cable TV are the two services that will complete your Pinecrest fundamentals — and I'm not talking about just ANY package!
You're living in Pinecrest — your home deserves ONLY the best!
So, for the most competitive bundle around Pinecrest, seek service from providers like Comcast Xfinity and AT&T!
All you need to do is assess your household's usage and entertainment needs, choose a suitable plan, and apply for a new service by submitting your complete address and proper IDs online or in person at the nearest store.
Meanwhile, if you're an existing Comcast or AT&T customer, request a service transfer as soon as you settle any remaining balance on your account!
You'll also want to check with your provider if you need to settle deposits, activation/installation, and equipment rental fees upfront.
Otherwise, expect these charges to reflect on your first bill.

The Starting Point To A Lifetime In Pinecrest: Your Official Florida ID
You say you want a painless Pinecrest relocation, yet you don't have a Florida driver's license?
Well, pal, that's the biggest mistake you've ever made!
You see, a Florida driver's license isn't just a REQUIREMENT within 30 days of establishing residency!
With a Florida driver's license, you drive on all Florida roads and get things done QUICKER!
If this isn't your first rodeo in moving homes, you already know you need an ID to help you with paperwork, utilities, and requesting documents!
So, if you don't have one, visit the nearest Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) or any local office offering driver's license services and submit the necessary documents.
Click on the applicable residency status to know which documents to have on hand when you apply:
The initial Florida Class E license, including a learner's permit, is $48.00, a commercial driver's license (Class A) is $75.00, and an ID Card fee is $25.00.
For a complete list of driver's license fees, click here.
Applicants with a current or previous driver's license from another state, country, or jurisdiction need not take the Drug and Alcohol courses, Class E Knowledge exam, and Florida Driving tests.
However, the Vision and Hearing test is still a must!
You'll also need insurance to title and register your vehicle(s) within ten (10) days of establishing residency.
On the other hand, if you have an existing Florida driver's license, notify the DMV of your new address for an updated driver's license to avoid breaking the law.
