Moving to Indian Creek? 7 Things You Need To Do Immediately!
Unlock the doors to a WORLD where privacy, security, and luxury living are PARAMOUNT as you immerse into the unparalleled lifestyle of Indian Creek, a prestigious Miami Beach neighborhood revered as the "Basecamp De Riguer" of the privileged and influential!
Situated on the glistening waters of Biscayne Bay is one of Miami Beach's wealthiest, private, and most secure communities occupied by a parade of ultra-wealthy and high-profile residents, the Village of Indian Creek, a 294 acre-paradise tucked into North Beach's western edge!
Revered by most as a "Billionaire Bunker" on the water, not much is known about Indian Creek due to its reputation as a luxurious but mega-exclusive residential enclave, albeit there's one thing everyone can agree on — this seemingly "inaccessible" community is reserved only for America's wealthiest and most visible people, some owning multiple parcels on the island!
Factor in Indian Creek Village's world-class amenities, expansive prime lots, over-the-top mansions, and its dreamy location at North Beach's western tip, and I'm sure you'll understand WHY!
So, if you chance upon a (rarely available) Indian Creek property on the market (raised at a headline-worthy price) and have the luxury of grabbing it, don't let that residential gem go!
As soon as you step inside this elusive oasis and reap all its GLORY, you'll know you've made the BEST decision for your future — the opportunity to be among one of the luckiest (and most privileged) residents of Miami!
And if you are ALREADY one of them, here's a guide to a smooth transition to your NEW life in the aristocratic community of Indian Creek!
Here are 7 things you need to do IMMEDIATELY when moving to Indian Creek.

Turning The Indian Creek Dream Into A Reality: The Steps To Making Your Indian Creek Mansion A Home
So, you've finally plucked up the courage to pack up and move to Indian Creek!
Congratulations on making an informed (and very expensive) decision!
Now it's time to put together your DREAM lifestyle inside this magical paradise, starting by sorting out the ESSENTIALS — turning that massive Indian Creek mansion into a HOME!
First stop, the utilities!
For your electricity, create or log in to your existing account at the Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) website and apply for service at your new Indian Creek address.
New customers must submit their Social Security, Driver's License, Social Insurance, or Tax ID number, new service address, and connection date while existing FPL customers only need to submit the disconnection date (old address), re-connection date, and complete service address for a service transfer.
Note that a deposit of $25 (minimum) and other initial set-up fees may be charged upfront, whether you're a new or existing customer.
Second, hook your natural gas service up with TECO Peoples Gas or Florida City Gas (FCG)!
After confirming service availability, submit the necessary IDs and connection date (new customer) or advise the disconnection date, the complete address of your new home, and your preferred service transfer date (existing customer).
Deposit fees may be based on your home's square footage or equal to twice the average monthly bill, and you may need to settle a connection fee before service connection.
Rounding up the list is water and sewer availability, which you can check on the Miami-Dade Water & Sewer website.
New customers must create an online account and deposit $50 for water, $50 for sewer, and a non-refundable $45 connection fee, and existing owners must also settle any outstanding balance before service transfer.

What Money Can Buy: Indian Creek Connectivity At Its Finest
They say money can't buy happiness, but if premium cable and internet services are what you're after, feel free to throw your cash around to get the BEST!
Kidding aside, you won't need to spend too much for a reliable, high-speed internet connection, especially in a prime community like Indian Creek.
In fact, you can find a plethora of competitive internet-cable bundles if you know where to look!
So, to nudge you in the right direction, check with esteemed service providers like Comcast Xfinity and AT&T!
Upon choosing your preferred provider and package, apply for new service by submitting your complete address and proper IDs online or in person at the nearest store, or request for a service transfer if you're an existing Comcast or AT&T customer, as soon as you settle any remaining balance on your account!
It's also best to check with your provider if you need to settle deposits, activation/installation, and equipment rental fees upfront to avoid "surprise" expenses.
Otherwise, all these may reflect on your first bill.

Living Among Miami Elites: An ID You Can Brag About
Sure, you probably have a chauffeur, helicopter, yacht, or boat and don't NEED to drive yourself around Florida.
But one thing's for certain — no matter how "privileged" you are, a Florida driver's license is a MUST!
Yes, folks, you're not mistaken!
A Florida driver's license is NON-NEGOTIABLE, not only because it's a REQUIREMENT within 30 days of establishing residency, but also if you want to drive on Florida roads without a violation!
Not to mention, it's legitimate proof that you're a full-pledge Indian Creek resident!
So, if you don't have one yet, visit the nearest Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) or any local office offering driver's license services and submit the necessary documents.
To know which documents to have on hand when you apply, click on the applicable residency status:
The initial Florida Class E license, including a learner's permit, is $48.00, a commercial driver's license (Class A) is $75.00, and an ID Card fee is $25.00.
For a complete list of driver's license fees, click here.
Those with current or previous driver's licenses from another state, country, or jurisdiction may be allowed to forego Drug and Alcohol courses, the Class E Knowledge exam, and the Florida Driving test.
However, taking the Vision and Hearing test is still a MUST.
You'll also need to get insurance to title and register your vehicle(s) within ten (10) days of establishing residency.
On the other hand, those with an existing Florida driver's license need to notify the DMV of their new address to get an updated driver's license to avoid any trouble with the law!
