Embark on a fur-fueled escapade full of joy, cuddles, and boundless energy with your four-pawed buddy at the lush pup-approved parks along San Souci Estates, an exclusive enclave offering a seamless blend of contemporary sophistication and serene Miami living on Biscayne Bay.

Offering a serene and private piece of the bayfront while being close to the city's conveniences, San Souci Estates covers 0.3 square miles and around 180 dry and waterfront lots, bordered by Keystone Point to the north, the City of North Miami to its south, and Biscayne Park to its west.

Sounds like a true-to-life paradise? You're not barking up the wrong tree!

Apart from its serene atmosphere and IG-worthy location on the water, San Souci Estates also puts you a stone's throw from the vibrant pleasures of urbanity, where you'll find an eclectic mix of culture, dining, and outdoor fun.

The best part? This waterfront beauty isn't just a haven for hoomans — it's a treat for four-legged residents, too, thanks to the array of dog-friendly parks and open spaces you and your doggo can explore, all just moments from home!

So, if you're dreaming of the perfect getaway for you and your fur-ever friend, wagging adventures are just around the corner!

And we know just where to start!

Here are the dog-friendly parks near San Souci Estates.

1) Alfred Besade Park

11825 NE 19th Dr, North Miami, FL 33181

Leash your pup and stroll along the open green spaces of Alfred Besade Park, a pet-friendly North Miami tot-lot open from sunrise to sunset, just 2 minutes from San Souci Estates.

While smaller than most parks, Alfred Besade Park offers ample space for a relaxing morning, afternoon, or evening walk with your dog and two playgrounds if your kids are tagging along!

Alfred Besade Park also boasts several shade trees, so you and your pup will have a place to protect yourself from the harsh Florida sun!

2) North Bayshore William Lehman Park (Top-Pick!)

12220 N Bayshore Dr, North Miami, FL 33181

Treat Fido to jaw-dropping waterfront views and lush open spaces to run, jump, and explore at North Bayshore Park, a paradise for pups and hoomans, just a 3-minute drive from San Souci Estates.

Offering a fishing pier, outdoor exercise stations, picnic areas, benches, shelters, and an expansive dog park, North Bayshore Park remains a go-to outdoor destination for families and dog lovers alike, especially those who want to hang out by the ocean.

Here, you'll find two separate areas for small and large breeds, complete with agility and play equipment for pups!

Bring Fido's leash when you visit, as you'll need to have your dog on a lead when going in and out of the off-leash area.

3) Officer Scott A. Winters Park

1145 98th St, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154

For a fulfilling day brimming with paw-some fun and lots of play, look to Officer Scott A. Winters Park, Bay Harbor Islands' most famous town park and a hit with doggies and pet owners who need Q-time near San Souci Estates, just a 6-minute drive.

Named after Officer Scott Winters, who grew up in the Bay Harbor Islands and served as a member of the Pompano Beach Police Department when he was shot and killed on the evening of July 29th, 1990, Officer Scott A. Winters Park is a local favorite nature spot for families and tourists with numerous recreational activities and amenities like park benches, pavilions, playgrounds, and an interactive splash pad with water jets and sculptural features.

Officer Scott A. Winters Park is also the ultimate go-to for dog owners due to its expansive dog run and park at the adjacent 98th Street Dog Park.

It's, indeed, a fun spot everyone in the family will enjoy, furry or otherwise!

4) 92nd Street Park

92nd St., Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154

Are you dropping by the Bay Harbor Islands with your four-legged crew?

Give them a memorable day at Bay Harbor Islands' 92nd Street Park, an urban community park with an open green lawn and a dedicated dog-run area just 7 minutes from San Souci Estates.

Once an under-utilized parking lot, 92nd Street Park has become an outdoor haven for families and their pups, where they can stroll, hang out, and do a doggy workout with its doggie agility equipment!

Tire your doggos out and let them run freely through the exciting course!

92nd Street Park also offers exercise equipment for the 'hoomans,' water fountains, benches, picnic tables, and solar-powered lighting.

5) Arch Creek East Environmental Preserve  (Top-Pick!)

2699 NE 135th St, North Miami, FL 33181

For a pup-friendly adventure across South Florida's tropical wonders, visit Arch Creek East, a one-of-a-kind residential environmental preserve and one of the top dog-friendly parks in North Miami, just a 7-minute drive from San Souci Estates.

An essential link in South Florida's challenged coastal ecosystem, Arch Creek East is home to manatees, saltwater crocodiles, wood storks, great-horned owls, egrets, herons, pelicans, ospreys, swamp rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, possums, box turtles, land crabs, ghost crabs, eagle rays, mullet, snapper, snook, grouper, and other wildlife native to South Florida.

Arch Creek East also boasts 13 acres of lush green spaces and bodies of water, including a mangrove forest and coastal estuary where you'll find an exceptionally diverse range of plants.

Meanwhile, the preserve's pathway is enjoyed by walkers, runners, cyclists, bird-watchers, good old-fashioned nature lovers, and, of course, visitors with a furry companion!

Share a "walk on the wild side" with Fido at Arch Creek East — but be sure it's on a leash!

6) Jaycee Park

14195 NE 16th Ct, North Miami, FL 33181

Known as one of North Miami's smaller parks, Jaycee Park may lack the amenities you seek, but it makes up for it with green open spaces you can share with Fido — and it's just a 7-minute drive from San Souci Estates!

At Jaycee Park, you can take your dog for a quick stroll or exercise on a leash, roam the perimeter, and relish a short but sweet outdoor trip with Fido, especially during stop-overs and road trip breaks!

7) Sauls Park

NE 13th Ave, North Miami Beach, FL 33162

Welcome to Sauls Park, a clean, green, and serene North Miami Beach passive park you can add to your list when traveling with Fido around San Souci Estates, just a 7-minute drive.

Boasting massive shade trees and vast open green spaces for a relaxing stroll, Sauls Park will be the perfect spot for a fun day out with your pup — sans the harsh heat of the sun, thanks to its collection of trees!

Don't forget to bring a leash!

8) Donald E. Bonhan Sr. Park

NE 158th Street & 12th Ave., North Miami Beach, FL 33162

Set your sights on Donald E. Bonhan Sr. Park, a tiny passive park to visit with your pup just 9 minutes from San Souci Estates.

Despite lacking amenities, Donald E. Bonhan Sr. Park will be an ideal spot to bring your dog to for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or some Vitamin C since the park comprises open green spaces.

Don't forget to bring your doggo's leash!

9) Taylor Park West

15458 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach, FL 33162

Nestled within the perimeter of Aqua Bowl Lake, a nine-acre reservoir, is Taylor Park West, a serene, passive park with open green spaces near a quarry, just a 10-minute drive from San Souci Estates.

A perfect spot for wildlife spotting and fishing, Taylor Park West invites you to take your pup for a long walk (with an immaculate view!) surrounded by birds, iguanas, turtles, raccoons, and big-mouthed bass — like a scene from Indiana Jones only much safer for your dog (if it's on a leash, of course!).

10) Haulover Beach Park (Top-Pick!)

10800 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33154

Traverse the lush grounds of Miami Beach for a memorable time amidst Mother Nature's allure at Haulover Beach Park, a 177-acre urban park between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, just 10 minutes from San Souci Estates.

Revered as one of Miami's premier dog-furiendly beaches and a must-visit for those with pets in tow, Haulover Beach Park is the perfect destination for a doggo raring for a dose of sun, sand, and sea!

Yes, fur-rents, this paw-some beach is the place to be!

Take a stroll on the nearby dock or enjoy a picnic at tables.

Or, if you're looking for an expansive space your dog can enjoy, visit Bark Park, an off-leash dog park in Haulover Beach Park.

It features fenced large and small dog sections, drinking water, and clean-up bags to avoid littering your pup's smelly mess.

But that's not all!

If you're looking forward to swimming with your canine, you have come to the right place!

You'll find a dog-friendly designated beach area between Lifeguard Towers #2 and #3, available from 8 am to 3 pm.

Just ensure your dogs are on a leash until they're safely in the designated off-leash dog zones of the park and beach.

11) Good Neighbor Stormwater Park

901 NE 144th St, North Miami, FL 33161

Prepare for a journey across open green spaces and walking paths at Good Neighbor Stormwater Park, an empty, flood-prone lot transformed into an open-air community space with ponds, public art display, and grassy fields, just 10 minutes from San Souci Estates.

Vegetated with an array of native trees and plants, Good Neighbor Stormwater Park doubles as a stormwater reservoir for the community of NoMi, but generally, it's a dog-friendly park you can visit for a nature walk with Fido!

Don't forget to bring a leash for your dog when you visit Good Neighbor Stormwater Park!
