Doralzuelans, we've come bearing good news!
Your community just got bigger and BETTER with two new (and improved) neighborhood parks and a massive hub of cultural and performing arts!
Yes, peeps, you read it right!
The local city government just unveiled the Doral Cultural Arts Center, a 14-square-foot multi-use facility with a massive art gallery space, multipurpose rooms, a lush outdoor courtyard and garden spaces, and a rooftop terrace — with a location next to Downtown Doral Park!
The newest community hangout joins the recently renovated Doral White Course Park, launched last May 2022, which now features a putting green and playground theme that honors Doral's rich golf history, alongside picnic shelters, shaded seating areas, an outdoor fitness plaza, a waterfront events plaza, a fenced off-leash dog area, restrooms, multipurpose fields, and a boardwalk to Downtown Doral.
But wait, there's more!
Due in the coming months is Doral Central Park's complete renovation, which will include a recreation center with a two-court gymnasium, café with outdoor seating, meeting rooms, fitness center, multipurpose rooms, and multi-generational spaces including a silver center, child care, teen room, and an arts & activity room, and an Aquatic center with a 50-M Competition Pool, Spectator Grandstands, 8-lane x 25-yard instructional pool, leisure pool, lazy river, spray ground and water slide!
When will it open?

What's new about Doral's diverse food scene?
I'll tell you what's what!
Just this year, two new dining spots have joined Doral's list of eats, and they're bringing ice-cold brews and delicious Cuban sandwiches to the table — literally!
Food lovers, meet Twin Peaks and Cuento Sandwiches, an award-winning sports lodge, and a Cuban sandwich spot, respectively!
Known for its scratch-made food, frosty 29° draft beer, and beloved Twin Peaks Girls, Twin Peaks (8700 NW 18th Terrace) opened its first lodge in Doral last March, joining twelve existing locations throughout the Sunshine State!
Meanwhile, Cuento Sandwiches (4237 NW 107th Ave), the brainchild of Chefs David Shipman and Michelle Duncan, claims to be a BETTER version of your ordinary Cuban sandwich shop, with its fusion of traditional Cuban flavors, inventive culinary craftsmanship, and out-of-this-world versions of classic sandwiches!

Set to be completed in the Fall, UHealth Doral will feature a six-story, 160,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility with a wide range of specialty services and a roster of expert physicians and staff, including those from NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the number-one eye hospital in the nation.
UHealth Doral will also deliver the latest urologic treatments from the renowned Desai Sethi Urology Institute.
Safe to say, world-class healthcare is an UNDERSTATEMENT!

A $650 Million Mixed-Use Development Is FINALLY Under Way!

After reaching a settlement agreement with city officials, Apollo Cos. is moving forward with Oasis at Doral, a mixed-use development with 630 multi-family units, 252 of which are set aside for workforce housing, on an 18-acre site.
Aside from residences, Oasis At Doral will feature 185,000 square feet of retail, 110,000 square feet of office space, and commercial enterprises, and may also include fitness amenities and rooftop facilities.
Oasis At Doral was also initially supposed to measure 10 and 12 stories but was changed to three buildings measuring no more than eight stories after talks with the local city government.

Two Famous Fast Food Brands Have Landed In Doral!

Just in — a newcomer has arrived at Florida's fast food scene, and it's giving everyone nostalgia!
Yes, peeps, I'm talking about Carl's Jr. (5755 NW 87th Ave), a fast food brand known for its "impossible-to-ignore" charbroiled Angus burgers and hand-breaded chicken tenders!
Opened in March, Carl's Jr. joins another famous fast food chain, Raising Cane's (8070 NW 36th St) Chicken Fingers, revered for its chicken fingers and Texas toast combos, which opened to the Doral public late last year!

A New Retail Destination Changes Doral's Shopping Landscape
Where: NW Corner of 36th St (Doral Blvd.) and 79th Ave, Doral, FL 33166
When: Happening Now!
Terra, one of South Florida's most active commercial and residential development firms, has completed construction of Doral Atrium, the newest 78,000 square-foot lifestyle-driven retail destination to join Doral's collection of mixed-use commercial centers, and is adjacent to a 350-unit multifamily rental community, also part of the project.
This completion (which happened in late 2023) is accompanied by the signing of a 1,480-square-foot new-to-market lease with TREMBLE Pilates Studio, putting Doral Atrium's total leased retail space at 65%.
Other Doral Atrium tenants include PNC Bank, Bonchon Chicken, UMARA, Sushi Mas, and a national franchise, The Good Feet Store.
To date, only 28,000 square feet of Doral Atrium retail space remains available for lease.
