Miami Gardens' Upcoming Sports-Themed Complex Is Not Just About Sports — It's An All-Around Destination!

Where: Northwest 191st St. and Northwest 27th Ave., Miami Gardens, FL, 33056

When: 2025

If you have an idea of what's happening around Miami Gardens, you may have already heard about the city's newest mixed-use venture, Miami Gardens City Center!

But even if you haven't, you've got me to give you a down-low on Miami Gardens' rising sports-themed complex, and right off the bat, I'm here to tell you that this exciting new destination won't just be all about SPORTS!

In fact, Miami Gardens City Center may be just one of Miami Gardens' all-in-one destinations!

Boasting a 35-acre location moments from the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens City Center will offer two hotels with a total of 320 rooms, a five-story parking garage, an entertainment area with an interactive Formula One museum, and a 100,000-square-foot amusement center with arcades, a bowling alley, and a massive trampoline!

Miami Gardens City Center will also have a residential component with its two luxury apartment towers, anticipated to be 10 and 15 stories each, with approximately 600++ one-to-three rental units, depending on the market, alongside 234,000 square feet of retail and dining space!

The best news is that this $92 million project may finish in late summer or early fall 2025, a year shy away from the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the College Football National Championship!

No doubt, this one-of-a-kind venue is worth the wait!

Miami Gardens Is Adding Two More Communities And One Is Its First-Ever Housing Complex For Seniors!

Where: across Miami Gardens

When: TBA

Good news, apartment hunters!

If you're still looking for a rental around Miami Gardens, Cymbal DLT Companies just added to your options!

Feast your eyes on Laguna Gardens (20775 NW 17th Ave.), a collection of 11 four-story buildings and 341 rental units to be completed this year!

Once it rises (in the next few months!), Laguna Gardens will feature high-end finishings, along with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and storage space, alongside communal amenities like a fitness center, game room, co-working lounges, swimming pool, and meditation garden.

Cymbal DLT Companies have also enrolled all the units into the Live Local Act, which means rent prices will be below market rates, approximately under $2,500 a month, depending on fluctuations.

But that's not all that's coming to Miami Gardens!

Apart from Laguna Gardens, the city will have another affordable residential development, but this time, it will be for the senior community!

According to several sources, megachurch pastor T.D. Jakes' real estate company, T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures, in cooperation with New Urban Development, will develop a new senior-living neighborhood next to the Miami Gardens Senior Family Center in the coming years!

The senior community will feature 150 units, a clubhouse, and walking trails within a seven-acre lot.
