Yes, peeps, no need to cross over to Wynwood for a seat at your favorite jack-and-coke spot — in just a few months, you'll only be a few steps from Wood Tavern!

A $10,000, Members-Only Sushi Dining Spot Is Adding A Little "Flavor" To Your Summer Season

Are you ready for a mind-blowing Japanese culinary experience?
Thanks to the Tcherassi brothers, Samuel and Jose, and esteemed sushi artisan Hidefumi Namba, Allapattah will be in the graced presence of Ura, a multi-faceted, members-only establishment this summer!
Designed by Colombia-based 5 Sólidos, Ura will offer 1,700 square-foot of space, a jazz lounge called the Listening Room modeled after Bar Cocktailante Oboro in Tokyo, and Sushi Namba, a bold fusion of traditional Japanese culinary arts with modern, exclusive dining concepts!
But here's the catch — there's a $10,000 membership fee to get in!
While this concept is not entirely new to Magic City, Ura stands out by not requiring annual fees (whew!).
Apart from a 10-seat sushi counter, a private four-seat area overlooking a lush garden with bonsai trees, and the Listening Room, Ura will be equipped with a state-of-the-art Audio Note vacuum-tube analog audio system and, of course, a noteworthy cocktail experience.
Safe to say, the thousands spent will be all worth it (fingers crossed!).

An Out-Of-This-World Art Gallery Is Finally Open!

This spring, a new art gallery is opening its doors in Allapattah, and it's bound to get all the attention!
It's a museum about sex — and I mean it literally!
Folks, meet the Museum of Sex, a museum dedicated to, according to their press release, "preserving, presenting, and celebrating the cultural significance of human sexuality."
But if you think this is just another novelty attraction, you've got another thing coming!
Museum of Sex promises a mix of all-star artists and serious discussions about the long history of human sexuality.
In fact, for its inaugural exhibitions, the Museum of Sex will bring a survey of acclaimed Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, another one called "Modern Sex," where there will be historical facts and objects ranging from AIDS protest art to antique vibrators and an immersive experience called "Super Funland: Journey into the Erotic Carnival!"
