Say Hello To Wynwood's Newest Dining Spots!

Where: across Wynwood

Complementing Wynwood's boom in developments is its new and upcoming dining spots — and they're as overwhelming as Wynwood's new builds!

In fact, Wynwood probably has the most extensive list of new restaurants in Miami, if not second to Downtown Miami, and what's even more interesting is that this community isn't done yet!

In 2023, Wynwood welcomed Log Fire Signature (10 NE 27th St.), a wood-fired Argentine restaurant, Oise Ristorante (2335 N Miami Ave.), a unique Italian and Japanese fusion by James Beard finalist Brad Kilgore and Andrew Mayer, and ZURI (73 NW 26th St.), a Moroccan hidden riad.

Meanwhile, in 2024, French cafe Maman (69 NW 26th St.), Skinny Louie (322 NW 24th St.), a 1950s-inspired burger joint and diner, and Yann Couvreur Café (2243 NW 2nd Ave.), a French cafe, also joined Wynwood's growing dining scene.

Oh, but believe us, there's more!

South Florida's beloved restaurant chain, Moon Thai & Japanese, also plans to build a three-story restaurant on a quarter-acre site at 82 NW 28th Street, near the northern edge of Wynwood, while Piegari Miami (141 NW 26th St.), an Argentinian dining spot, and Chef Niven Patel's Ghee Indian Kitchen (70 NW 25th St.) are opening in Wynwood later this year!

Need we say more?

A Historic Wynwood Destination Starts Renovation!

Where: 561 NW 32nd St, Miami, FL 33127

When: Happening Now!

Thanks to the $2 million grant directed by City of Miami Chairwoman and Commissioner Christine King from her District's allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds, Bakehouse Art Complex, one of the oldest and largest artist-serving organizations in South Florida, is beginning structural repairs to its iconic and nearly 100-year old Art Deco-era building.

A working home to Miami-based artists since 1986, Bakehouse Art Complex is one of Wynwood's esteemed landmarks, and locals are ecstatic with its planned rejuvenation — as they should!

And for even more good news, Bakehouse will remain accessible 24/7 to its artists during the eight-month renovation and will be open to the public from noon to 5 p.m.

What will Bakehouse Art Complex look like after the million-dollar makeover?

Let's wait and find out!
