Striving to become a more livable, sustainable, and prosperous community on the water, North Bay Village cooks up new projects and enhancements for its beloved residents, one being a multi-million dollar training center!
Yes, peeps, the future of North Bay Village is brighter and more prosperous than ever, thanks to its ongoing community projects, including sidewalk improvements in the Harbor and Treasure Islands, seven new bus shelters along Kennedy Causeway, stormwater and wastewater pump station enhancements, and village-wide landscaping!
But wait, there's more!
North Bay Village residents also anticipate five new community facilities across the islands, like a civic park on East Drive with a boat dock, picnic area with a pavilion, nature trail with signage, lighting, landscaping, and a bike rack, expected to complete by Spring 2025.
The Village government, police, and fire station will also have a new home, the North Bay Village Hall & Safety Complex, and Vogel Park will have a new Marine Facility with a dock for the Village Marine Patrol and kayak launch site for residents to enjoy!
But the biggest and most highly anticipated North Bay Village projects are the multi-million-dollar AFA soccer & training facility and Island Walk construction.
The Island Walk project will provide waterfront access and stunning views to the public through pedestrian walkways along the northern boundaries of Treasure Island and at key locations on Harbor Island!
Meanwhile, the AFA Training Facility, spearheaded by the Argentine Football Association and the North Bay Mayor's Office, will offer an advanced High-Performance Center with training fields, soccer schools, versatile multipurpose spaces, a football museum, a recreational trail/exercise path, and ample green spaces!
Safe to say, North Bay Village is stepping into its BEST version yet!

The North Bay Village Renaissance — Six Residential And Commercial Developments Transforms The "Heart Of The Bay!"

With these six residential and commercial ventures in the pipeline, there's no doubt that a new North Bay Village will unfold right before our eyes!
New construction projects have ushered in an era of dynamic growth for North Bay Village, and famous developers like Continuum Company, Shoma Group, S2 Development, Sunbeam Properties, Horizon Development, and Riviera Horizons are driving this revitalization!
We're talking developments like the Continuum Club & Residences (1755 JFK Causeway), a 32-story luxury condo tower with 198 residences and penthouses expected to break ground at the end of 2024, and a 10-year planned mixed-use venture with 1,936 residential units, a 200,000-square-foot Class A office building, and a 300-room luxury hotel amidst 8-10 towers up to 650 feet tall across 13 acres by Sunbeam Properties, which will also have 670,000 square feet of commercial space, a grocery store, marina, restaurants, and 5,000 parking spaces.
There's also the 30-story tower which will offer 273 hotel rooms and 345 apartments by the Jesta Group (1819-1855 79th St.), which will replace the existing Best Western Hotel, S2 Development's Marina View (7913 to 7915 West Dr.), a 22-story luxury residential tower with 94 residential units, and the world's first Pagani Residences (7940 West Dr.) by Riviera Horizons and Pagani, a boutique luxury residential building with 70 all-corner residences, a 240-foot waterfront boardwalk, private boat slips, and entertainment spaces, slated to complete in 2027.
Oh, and don't forget Shoma Bay's 24-story condo tower (1850 John F Kennedy Cswy), which will offer 333 apartments, a Publix grocery store, and a Shoma Bazaar Food Hall, which will rise at the end of 2026!
