What's new in Gables Estates?

Revered as a coveted residential haven for high-net-worth homeowners and affluent personalities, a quiet and intimate homefront is pretty much the norm in the prestigious community of Gables Estates.
It's what's to be expected, really.

Just in — a brand new Gables Estates waterfront mansion is selling for $57 million, and it's an ocean lover's dream!
Listed last February, the lavish property spans 18,963 square feet and offers eight bedrooms, nine baths, and two half baths, located on a 54,000+, V-shaped point lot boasting direct access to Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean!
The Ramon Pacheco architectural masterpiece also features a private 140' boat dock that can accommodate a 170+ foot mega yacht, a five-car garage, floor-to-ceiling windows, a beautiful Mick De Giulio kitchen, a gorgeous bayside, an Estudio Arque pool, landscaped gardens, and expansive, multiple outdoor entertainment areas.

A $36 Million Teardown?

Late last year, a prized Gables Estates landmark, "Sea Aerie," sold for $36 million.
To date, this gorgeous architectural marvel, designed and built in 1963 by renowned Miami architect Alfred Browning Parker, has been demolished to make room for a newly built property — and it's the cause of Coral Gables locals' breaking hearts!
The tear-down also came a week before PBS released a new documentary on Alfred Browning Parker's work, where the Gables Estates home was featured, so yes, the devasting news was too much to handle, especially to those who've seen the "after-demolition" photos!
Nonetheless, the construction for the new house on 140 Avida Parkway is underway, and like everyone else, we're milking the internet for updates!
